With 2 interchanges to I-71, it is convenient to travel south to Columbus or north to Mansfield or Cleveland. The county was formed in 1848 and consists of more than a quarter of a million acres of land. The western 1/3 of the county is level while the eastern 2/3 is gently rolling towards the foothills of the Allegheny mountains.
